Sierra Leone Book Trust Undertakes Distribution of 150,000 Books

Books For Africa enjoys a longstanding partnership with the Sierra Leone Book Trust, headed up by Sallieu Touray and with fundraising leadership by Professor Dick Simpson. This collaboration began in 2009 and has a goal of sending 1 million books to Sierra Leone, . With the latest shipment, they have inched closer than ever, at over 950,000 books to date!

The latest shipment was a five-container shipment carrying over 150,000 books. Sallieu has been hard at work distributing to schools across the country.
