Books For Africa recently heard from its partner Children in the Wilderness (CITW), which has been at work distributing books to primary schools in the rural region of Tsholotsho, Zimbabwe. BFA’s collaboration with the Zambezi Schoolbook Project has now brought over 1.4 million books to Zimbabwe!

Books For Africa recently supported FHI 360 South Africa’s Capacity Development and Support program with a shipment of over 40,000 books for the purposes of supporting orphans and vulnerable children who are at risk or affected by HIV.

The African Union Ambassador to the United States, Her Excellency Hilda Suka-Mafudze, served as the keynote speaker for the grand opening of the Books For Africa (BFA) Atlanta warehouse on June 26, 2021. The event took place against the backdrop of the celebration of the African Union 2021 theme of the year: “Arts, Culture and Heritage: Levers for Building the Africa We Want.”
