Books For Africa Celebrates Most Successful Fiscal Year Ever in 2023: Over Four Million Books Shipped
Books For Africa is celebrating! On June 30th, we closed our most successful fiscal year ever! In FY2023, we shipped approximately 4,029,000 books to 32 African countries. This is the most books ever shipped by Books For Africa in a single year! Approximately 800,000 digital books were also shipped on 116 computers and 150 tablets. Since it was founded in 1988, Books For Africa has shipped over 58 million books to the continent.
The value of BFA’s shipments totaled over $32.6 million. BFA raised over $2.6 million to ship these books to partners across Africa.
