ChildFund donates container textbooks worth $1,083,840 to MoBSE
ChildFund, The Gambia on Friday donated three (3) 40foot containers of textbooks worth $1,083,840.00 to the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE) to support children’s education across the country.
The donation ceremony was held at ChildFund Office in Kanifing.
MusuKuta Komma, Country Director for ChildFund, The Gambia said they operate to promote the well-being of children and their families living in deprivation and vulnerability.
She said the textbooks are meant to support the Government in providing free and quality education to all children.
She stated that Books for Africa has made tremendous progress in its mission by donating books to African countries.
