Books For Africa Holds Summit Society Reception at Kenyan Embassy in Washington, DC.

Books For Africa conducted meetings in Washington, D.C., including participation in the US Global Leadership Coalition annual summit and the annual BFA Summit Society reception. The Summit Society represents BFA’s top donors. This year’s event was hosted by the Embassy of Kenya, and many African ambassadors and diplomatic staff were in attendance. Books For Africa also met with US Senator Amy Klobuchar and US Congresswoman Betty McCollum regarding international development issues. Other briefings for the group included US Ambassador to China Ken Burns and Ukraine’s Ambassador to the US.
