Vikings Community Relations Team Volunteers at St. Paul Warehouse

Books For Africa’s St. Paul warehouse was delighted to host volunteers from the Community Relations branch of its hometown football team, the Minnesota Vikings.

The Minnesota Vikings have a strong commitment to supporting charitable organizations throughout Minnesota and the five-state Vikings region. Supporting BFA, which has had its administrative headquarters in Minnesota since it was founded in 1988, is a natural fit!

Joining the Vikings staff for this event were BFA board member and leader of the Ghanaian community in Minnesota, Isaac Owens, and BFA Executive Director Pat Plonski.

Books For Africa relies heavily on its volunteers, who help sort tens of thousands of pounds of books each week for quality and for packing. Big thanks to the Vikings Community Relations team and all of our volunteers in St. Paul and Marietta for helping support literacy in Africa – we couldn’t do it without you!
