Ambassador of Togo Visits Books For Africa Warehouse

His Excellency Frédéric Edem Hegbe, Ambassador of Togo to the U.S., recently visited the Books For Africa warehouse in Marietta, Georgia.

The Ambassador serves as Chair of BFA’s Summit Society, BFA’s giving society for supporters at the $5,000 a year and up level.

There, he met with BFA staff to tour the facilities, examine books and shipments, and discuss a container project for Togo. A shipment is being planned for later this year.

Said the Ambassador, "It was indeed a great pleasure to meet you yesterday at the Books for Africa warehouse. We enjoyed the tour of your facility that you and Brad so kindly gave us. It certainly was worth the long drive down from Washington!  … I look forward to future opportunities to engage with the outstanding work Books For Africa is performing on the African Continent."
