BFA - Rotary Partnership Program Introduced at Rotary International Convention

Rotary International has a long-standing partnership with Books For Africa, with collaborative efforts delivering over 2.3 million books (valued over $25 million dollars) to 58 Rotary clubs in 15 African countries.

This summer, Books For Africa was at the Rotary International convention in Atlanta June 10 - 14 to host an information booth and provide tours of our BFA warehouse. We were thrilled to host Rotarians from around the world, and the "Taste of Africa" reception at our warehouse was a great networking event, which we hope will lead to many containers of books delivered to Rotarian partners on the African continent.

A new BFA/Rotary partnership program was introduced at the convention.  This program partners African Rotary clubs desiring books  with Rotary clubs worldwide who are willing to help.  These partnerships will support reading programs, promote literacy, and make new connections between rotarians across the globe.   Books For Africa is excited to partner with Rotary clubs to help reach the goal of 3 million BFA books sent to Africa by Rotary.
