Donate NowBridging the Education Divide with Textbooks and Digital Learning
In Liberia today, the dreams of thousands of young learners are limited not by their potential, but by access. Across classrooms and communities, children eager to learn science, technology, and English lack the most basic tools: books. No communities’ resources center and Shelves sit empty in schools that are full of ambition.
Books of Africa, in partnership with Tech4Future-Liberia’s STEMBridge Liberia initiative Project, seeks to change that. Together, we are on a mission to ship thousands of high-quality textbooks, and devices to Liberia—books that will build libraries, equip classrooms, and ignite the minds of students preparing to lead their nation into the digital age.

Why This Matters
Liberia’s future depends on a new generation that can think critically, innovate boldly, and work confidently in the global economy. Yet, most schools lack up-to-date learning materials in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), English, and ICT, subjects essential for 21st-century progress.
By supporting this campaign, you are not just shipping books, you are shipping opportunity:
- A chance for a student in Monrovia, Robertsport, Fishtown, Buchanan or Ganta to learn coding for the first time.
- A Resource Center (library, computer lab, study room, conference and meeting rooms.) in Monrovia (Bushrod Island) that becomes a community hub for literacy and innovation.
- A young girl who finds her voice in English and her future in science.
Every book you help send becomes seeds of transformation.
The Vision: From Books to Bridges
The STEMBridge Liberia Initiative is already building pathways that connect education to employability. Through global partnerships with educational institutions and technology leaders, STEMBridge integrates:
- World-class IT training for teachers and students
- Mathematics proficiency and English literacy programs
- Community libraries and learning hubs that provide lasting access to knowledge
These textbooks will be the foundation stones for those learning spaces, bridging the gap between hope and hands-on education.
How You Can Help
With seed funding already generously provided by the First Unitarian Society (a donation of US $1,750), we have laid the foundation for this major campaign. Thanks to Books of Africa’s logistics and global reach, Tech4future-liberia is on track to coordinate shipping, customs clearance, distribution, and implementation, bringing real opportunity to Liberia’s youth.
We invite supporters, donors, educational institutions and corporate partners to join us. Your contribution will not simply send books; it will ship hope and unlock potential. Every textbook, every computer device, every trained teacher and librarian will add up to a stronger Liberia, one student at a time.
Together we can make the vision of STEMBridge Liberia a reality.
Your generosity can make learning real for thousands:
- ships 40 ft of textbooks to libraries, and classrooms.
- stocks a rural library shelf with life-changing resources.
- equips an entire school library for a year.
Join Us, Let’s turn the tide for Liberia’s learners. Let’s ship knowledge, build futures, and prove that the power of a book can change the world.

Donate Today. Ship Hope to Liberia.
