Sanitation and Literacy Ghana (SALG) is partnering with Books for Africa to raise funds to ship books to Ghana. Our mission is to advance literacy efforts in Ghana by providing books and others resources to organizations and groups leading literacy efforts. SALG aims to improve the quality of education in Africa through the provision of literacy materials that enables students to acquire knowledge and achieve their potential.This is mainly due to a lack of books and resources.

Strategic Objectives:

Equip public schools in Ghana with books and educational materials to improve literacy for the poorest low performing schools in Ghana.
Establish and equip Community Libraries with books and internet access to serve as hubs of learning and enterprise in the poorest communities.
Enable students from the poorest backgrounds to be educated and be equipped with literacy materials to achieve knowledge and achieve their potential
