Volunteer at the BFA Warehouse in Georgia

At BFA’s warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia, volunteers sort and pack the books according to category and age level. No heavy lifting is involved. Volunteers need to be 14 years old and 12 years old with an adult.

Volunteers give two or more hours of their time and meet on:

• Every Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
• First and third Saturdays of every month from 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

If you are interested in volunteering at the Georgia warehouse, please e-mail Alfreda at alfreda@booksforafrica.org with the date, time, and number of volunteers. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with a map to the warehouse.

Groups should call ahead (404-603-8680) to schedule a time to volunteer.
