Million Books to The Gambia Project Book Collection and Fundraiser featuring Isatou Ceesay
Books For Africa has been working in an ongoing partnership with fellow Twin Cities-based organization, Hand In Health, to send 1,000,000 books to The Gambia! We would like to invite you to the first Minnesota book collection and fundraising event for the project.
We are honored to welcome our guest speaker, Mrs. Isatou Ceesay, recent recipient of the International Alliance for Women (TIAW) 2012 World of Difference 100 Award.

In addition to speaking at the Million Books to The Gambia Fundraiser, Mrs. Ceesay will also be speaking at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) about how her work with Njau Recycling and Income Generating Group (NRIGG) has helped women in The Gambia empower themselves to promote economic development in their own communities.
