An overview of the success of the Jack Mason Law & Democracy Initiative, including the MOU signed recently with Thomson Reuters, is included on page 1 of the January 3, 2011, edition of the ABA's International Human Rights e-Brief (Issue No. 43).

On June 25, 2010, Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi (RKMC) Law Firm hosted an event to introduce BFA to the greater Atlanta community. RKMC also stated their continued support of the Law & Democracy Initiative by providing a grant for $10,000. This is RKMC's second $10,000 grant toward the Initiative. Chief Judge Michael Davis, a member of the Law & Democracy Initiative Advisory Board, introduced the Law & Democracy Initiative at a luncheon for the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association in September of 2008. You can read his comments on page 6 of this document.
