Books For Africa ships high-quality donated text, library, and reference books that are relevant to African students. BFA book recipients choose their books according to age level and category.
Age Levels:
- Primary Junior—preschool and kindergarten through grade 4 in the U.S.
- Primary Senior—grades 5–8 in the U.S.
- Secondary—grades 9–12 (high school) in the U.S.
- Post-Secondary—university, college, or vocational level in the U.S.

Please note that there is an additional charge per computer. The following computers are available for purchase:
- Desktop Pentium 4 computer—additional $200 per computer
- Laptop Pentium 4 computer—additional $250 per computer
